TENTATIVE DATES- *SUBJECT TO CHANGE
GREAT AMERICA GRAD NITE
Saturday, May 6th from 9pm to 1am. Pick up and drop off times will depend on transportation needs. The $75 cost includes the entrance fee and an all you can eat buffet. Tickets are available until May 5th, 2023. Transportation will be provided to Morton students only.
You can now purchase Six Flags tickets online via this link: https://morton201.revtrak.net/2023-great-america-night/#/v/2023-great-america-night-morton-east-. Once you've paid online, please ask your student to bring a physical copy or screenshot of the receipt (which should include the name) to Mr. Depa's office in A202, where they can receive the physical tickets. This link will be active from April 19th until May 4th.
SENIOR PICK UP
Wednesday, May 24th from 11:30am until 3pm Graduate pick-up will be in the field house. Graduates will pick up their cap and gown, graduation tickets, and senior awards (cords, medals, etc (if you earned them)). You will also be able to drop off your laptop for reimaging and donate your uniforms (if you choose to do so).
SENIOR BREAKFAST
- Tuesday, May 23rd, 10:30am at Navy Pier
A lunch honoring the Class of 2023 will take place aboard the Spirit of Chicago Vessel on Lake Michigan. Bus transportation will be provided, leaving Morton East at 9:30am sharp and the cruise will be from 11am to 1 pm. Tickets for this event cost $60 between April 6th and May 5th. Casual jeans, t-shirts, athletic shoes and flip-flops are PROHIBITED! Permission slips will be available in 312 April 6th until May 6th.
GRAD SIGNS
Class of 2023 signs will be placed at graduate's homes (Date: TBD). Please ensure that the address in Skyward is correct. If it is not, please email Ms. Helma at shelma@jsmorton.org to correct it.
PROM
When: Thursday, May 25th 6:30pm-11pm; no entrance after 8pm
Where: Donald E. Stephens Convention Center - 5555 River Road, Rosemont, IL
Tickets are $90 per person if purchased April 6th through May 16h.
Eligible students may pick up prom packets starting on April 6th from Mr. Depa, make sure you have your ID.
Eligibility for Prom: 90% attendance, on track to graduate, no major behavior referrals
Prom appeals begin April 11th
GRADUATION
Graduation will be Wednesday, May 31st at 8pm at the Morton West Stadium.
Graduates may decorate their caps. Please follow these guidelines if you choose to do so.
DIPLOMAS
Diplomas will be available for pick up in 412 between June 5th and June 30th. Any diplomas not picked up by then will be mailed. If your address has changed, please complete this email Ms. Helma at shelma@jsmorton.org with your new address so your diploma is mailed to the correct address.
