Graduation will take place at the UIC Pavilion on Sunday, May 26th, 2019 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Students will each be given five tickets for their guests who wish to attend the ceremony. Please click here to view the Pavilion seating chart . Pavilion seating is is general admission, yet handicap seating is available.
Students will meet in the parking garage at 1:00 p.m. just east of the Pavilion with their caps and gowns in hand.
The University of Illinois at Chicago will be charging a parking fee of $10. For any questions about parking, public transportation, or directions please click here.
For the graduation ceremony, NO flowers, pins, or other decorations are to be worn on the gown. Ladies are not to carry any type of purse or flowers. Ladies are suggested to wear low heels or flats. Students are not allowed to use cell phones or cameras during the ceremony. Students are expected to be appropriately dressed in casual/formal attire. No jeans, gym shoes, flip-flops, shorts, or sports attire is permitted. Students not dressed appropriately will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony.
Please remember that although graduation from high school is a source of individual joy and celebration, the actual ceremony should be viewed within the greater context of being a public gathering of friends and family. For this reason, we have high expectations for appropriate behavior during the commencement ceremony. Standing and cheering during the ceremony is not appropriate behavior. Please be considerate of all.
